Wonderful Asikkala
This tour is Asikkala in a nutshell, welcome!
Our tour begins with coffee and meeting with your guide. We go for a walk along Vääksy Canal and hear about its history followed by shopping in the idyllic small shops in Old Vääksy.
After buffet lunch by the shore of Lake Päijänne the tour continues to Asikkala church.
Finally, we drive to Pulkkilanharju ridge where you can admire the beautiful Päijänne National Park scenery.

Finland’s most beautiful scenic road
The tour begins from Vääksy and leads via Pulkkilanharju ridge and its beautiful scenery to Kalkkinen village.
Our tour starts from Vääksy where you will meet your guide. After enjoying coffee by the shore of Lake Päijänne we continue to Old Vääksy and do some shopping in the picturesque small shops.
Next stop is at Asikkala church. We continue the tour to Pulkkilanharju rigde, which is part of Päijänne National Park.
The following stop is Kalkkinen village where we will taste a glass of a local rewarded wine. Shopping in the Farm Shop is also possible.
Lunch we will have according to the group’s wishes.

Experience two different canals
Welcome onboard! The beautiful waterway takes us from Vääksy Canal via Kalkkinen Canal to Kalkkinen village.
We start the tour at 9 a.m. by enjoying coffee before driving to Vääksy Canal. Before the ship arrives to the canal at 10.25 it is possible to explore the environment around the canal.
We step onboard the ship and the journey continues to Kalkkinen Canal and Kalkkinen village. The relaxing boat trip is an exciting experience for everyone regardless of age!
We get off at Kalkkinen village and go to a local farm where we are served a glass of their rewarded wine. Shopping at the farm is also possible.
Before we head back to Vääksy, we will enjoy lunch.
On the way back we drive along the scenic Pulkkilanharju ridge in Päijänne National Park.
